Endless Moments Photo booths were engaged by the head of Melbourne University events to provide two open photo booths for the Melbourne Uni Staff Ball. Approximately 400 guests attended the night which entailed awards presentations, 5 course meals and drinks.
The venue was Mural hall in Melbourne’s CBD Burke street which is one of Myer’s prestigious function rooms.
Given the size of the event and popularity of our photo booths, the client went with our recommendation of two photo booths for the event. whilst many Melbourne photo booth hire companies could not accommodate events to this scale, however we pride ourselves on having access to a number of photo booths to meet our clients’ needs.
Both photo booths were situated in the foyer and as guests began arriving, the bright booths definitely started to capture guest’s attention.
Each of our open photo booths comes with a choice of ten different backdrop options which can be seen here. Each Melbourne photo booth booking has access to any one of these background options with the event organiser decided the open photo booths would contain our grey triangles and green hedge backdrop as seen in the photos.
Prior to the event, the Endless Moments team were discussing which backdrop and booth would be more popular throughout he night and which would attract the most guests. Both backdrops were attractive, however the green hedge seemed to gain slightly more traffic.
As the night rolled on, the photo booths became even more popular with guests taking snapchats of the photo booth strips and also uploading them to their Facebook pages.
We also enabled the ‘booth to phone’ features on our photo booths for the night which enabled the guests to send the photos taken on the booth directly to their phones. Some guests even entered their friend’s numbers which were not at the event to show how much fun they were all having.
